Owned by Sri Lanka’s leading conglomerate – the John Keells Group, Walkers Tours has the advantage of being supported by the group’s two hotel brands “Cinnamon” and “Chaaya” which together own and manage eight resort hotels in prime tourist locations such as Kandy, the ancient cities, Bentota, Hikkaduwa and Trincomalee, consisting of over 1800 beds. The Group owns the two most sought after luxury 5 star Hotels in Colombo, the Cinnamon Grand and Cinnamon Lakeside which have between them, over 1,750 beds. It also owns and manages four Island Resorts in the Maldives.
To service its clients from over 40 countries, Walkers Tours operates the largest tourist transport fleet in the island, consisting of cars, mini vans, mini and large coaches - in fact, it is the only Sri Lankan company to use European Volvo coaches.
